THE RIGHT TRADES

SAFE. EXPERIENCED. TRUSTED.

Our guidance during the bid/award process definitely helps secure the top-qualified subcontractors to match the specific requirements of the described scope of work. Rewold’s prequalification process requires, as an attachment, current and completed projects in addition to the information listed previously. Furthermore, we have a database of trusted (and prequalified) subcontractors that are tried, tested, and dependable over multiple decades and project types. Experience is one component of a contractors capability that, at times, supersedes all else.

COMPLETE & CORRECT PROPOSALS

SELECTING QUALIFIED TRADES.

The scope of work is clearly identified on the drawings and included in the base proposal and bid pack. After the bid document questions have been satisfactorily addressed, Rewold will help the owner and architect evaluate, compare, and recommend the bidders for contract award.  An in-depth interview with the apparent low bidder is conducted by our project team to ensure completeness.

THE SELECTION PROCESS

BUILDING THE TEAM.

Frank Rewold & Sons Inc. bases its Invitation to Bid (ITB) on the owner’s directive or project requirements. All Frank Rewold and Son subcontractors are prequalified. Our Subcontractor Prequalification Form includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Trade classification

  • Federal Tax Identification Number

  • Bonding capacity

  • Labor agreements

  • Safety Program including EMR and MIOSHA records

  • Quality Assurance Program

  • Insurance Coverage

  • Bank, client, and trade References

  • Current work under contract and backlog

Specifically, to the extent possible, we select subcontractors that have a solid track record of similar work and that add proven value to projects with precise needs.
