Hunter House is Building a Replica of its Iconic Restaurant

Hunter house is set to replicate its old building Woodward Avenue and Maple Road downtown. They've been slinging their beloved sliders and french fries and from a food truck to customers in the meanwhile.

For the project's general contractor Frank Rewold & Sons Inc., the buildout is a bit of an anomaly - but a fun one, said Sean Rewold, vice president of the Rochester Hills-based company. Although it's done its fair share of historic preservation work and plenty of restaurant and kitchen construction, "this is its own animal," said Rewold.
